Those of us who are fond of both Shakespeare and indie gaming should scope out the new Fiasco playset, entitled "London 1593." Also, spies. From Will Hindmarch and Kenneth Hite.
Nah, Dread is the one with the Jenga tower. (As opposed to the other Dread, which is the one with the twelve sided dice and the splatterpunk.) Fiasco is GM-less, group character creation, take turns framing scenes. Sort of like PTA.
Sort of. In a nutshell: you roll four six siders for everyone at the table. You then go around the table, choosing from the elements listed in the scenario document. The numbers rolled on the dice control what you can choose. At the end of setup, everyone has a character, something that's important to them, and relationships with the other characters.
Then you do rotating scenes. You can either define a scene or define the outcome (positive or negative). If you choose to determine the outcome, the rest of the table frames the scene, and vice versa.
