We have so much custom stuff on our MT install that I really don't want to move until I have to. When my husband thinks it's too much trouble, that's a lot of stuff.

Yeah, that's my big worry -- I have quite a few plugins and mods that I'd hate to lose. Still, I applied, and when I get in I'll see how much effort it is to move. I really, really want a better commenting system and subcategories.

I kind of suspect that we may see a split in development with MT 3.0 -- there may wind up being a die-hard 2.0 community if it's too hard to upgrade. There's been so much development for the 2.0 platform that it'll be hard to give it up.
