I seem to have six Gmail invites. There are no good usernames left, but if you still want one, drop me an email. Grovelling is optional.

See, the technophile in me wants one of these just cuz they're shiny, but then I wonder what exactly would I do with it? I've got my standard address, and whhen I signed up for dsl I got about 18 other accounts I haven't even set up yet. Other than the boatload of storage space, what's the big draw?

It is. I've had one myself for a couple of days, and it's pretty slick. I'm still deciding if I want to put all my email onto a server with no way of getting a backup, though.

I have the same question. It didn't stop me from yoinking an invite off [livejournal.com profile] mgrasso, though. (Thanks, Mike!)

I know at least one person who could really use one, and another who primarily functions on web mail. I'll email you.

I think I could actually benefit, which surprises me.

It is indeed very shiny.

Do I need one? Given that Yahoo just expanded to 100MB of free space, I doubt it.

Do I want one? Um, maybe. I'm tempted.
