In light of the fact that my current bank is owned by a large overseas financial company that's located in a country which is slightly less messed up than us financially, I decided to keep my account in the same place when I moved. I foresee this causing no hardship at all except for that initial paycheck which doesn't get direct deposited. Said pay check came this week; thus, we road tripped up to Pennsylvania to the closest ATM to make a deposit.
Since we're doing nothing else today we took the scenic route up Route 45, and then came back along Route 851, then Route 23, then Route 146 across Loch Raven Park (and the reservoir) to Cockeysville. Man, that is one pretty chunk of countryside in both directions. As a Yankee, I am curious as to what the original farmers did with all the stones from the fields -- they don't seem to have made walls with them. Very confusing. However, it's certainly a pretty effect!
There are indeed horses and lots of corn and some cows. I suspected some of the areas closer to Baltimore were executive-land, and that does seem to be the case. Lush, lush area. All in all it was an awesome drive.
Also, we complete the cat movie trilogy behind the cut. This is Bunny, until Maggie detected the sound of an iPhone filming across the entire apartment and rushed over for her closeup. Now that I'm done filming cats I intend to get working on the shot by shot remake of the first season of West Wing. Our hallway is plenty long enough for the walk and talk shots.
