Nov. 7th, 2003 09:27 pmFrom time to time, people ask me why I link to and read right-wing bloggers. The simple answer is “Because I want to see other viewpoints.” However, Tacitus just provided us with a clear example of the kind of integrity and honesty I find deeply valuable.
How could I not read a conservative thinker who’s that honest? That’s not an enemy, that’s a fellow human being who happens to disagree with me.

While Reynolds didn't say "all anti-war activists are glad when people die in Iraq," he did say that everyone who'd emailed him is glad when people die in Iraq -- and how could Reynolds possibly know that? He couldn't. Yglesias is on target in the criticism.
Hm, I gotta make that post about the Tom Tomorrow cartoon I've been meaning to make.
