When someone sets a pipe bomb off at a biotech lab doing stem cell research? That's what I would call terrorism. This is a company that's trying to find a cure for diabetes, and someone hates them enough to try and kill people. I am so tired of this hatred for science.

All the local biotech compneis have been under heavy security lately. Its a pain in the neck, buts its better than a pip bomb going off near my cubicle.

When faith trumps evidence, you don't need science. I hope the local FBI and cops throw everything they have at this case of domestic terrorism...

In fact, according to the follow-up reports, the company uses only _adult_ stem cells- not the fetal stem cells that draw most of the protests. The sad part is that whoever did it apparently doesn't know how they are different, and is so blinded by their "ideology" that the term stem cells, in any context, brings them to this choice. On the other hand, at least one report indicates that it may have been a disgruntled employee- of a company that used to occupy that space... So it is poor research either way...
