The PCs are a group of (level 1) characters who've come together to apply for this mysterious yet intriguing class. Doctor Cavillard, so -- so -- unknown!
My old campaign had a PC who was a Morgrave scholar, but that never really came to anything in game. Although the party did kinda adopt a stuffed bulette in the university's library as their mascot.
The 4E Eberron game I'm thinking of running is about exiles from Khorvaire making a new life for themselves in Stormreach. Very player directed, which is cool, but I'll have to see how much Eberron flavour comes through in a place without lightning rails and many other distinctive elements.
Very cool. One of our last attempts at 4e, before we decided our group was too big for it and we just weren't collectively into it was something that started out as a University Game, but ended up Spelljammer. It was a lovely premise, just too crowded.
