Possibly I don't want to be a writer after all. Apparently there are pitfalls. Sadly, I find myself tempted to actually buy the book under discussion. Fortunately, there's no purchase information provided.

Wow. This is a whole bunch of hilarious.

Me: Your book is printed on very white, shiny paper.

Burrows: They did a nice job.

Now why don't I get to call people up and tell them that they suck?

You need to pitch this idea to your editor.

Seriously.

Copying other people's ideas is Not Nice, journalistically speaking.

Or Not Fun. But still, I can hardly say "What a great idea! We should steal it!"

Feh. Originality.

Fox manages just fine without it.

Yeah, but does anyone RESPECT Fox? There's a difference between makin' bank and making a name for yourself, and I'd prefer the latter. Granted, my bank account shows that, but hey, I don't need all that much material crap out of life. I make enough for food and rent, and I get my books and DVDs free.

That about sent me into tears. :-(

Your writing isn't that bad.

Burrows' wrote the literary version of Plan 9 from Outer Space. Hell, I can write more convincing dialogue in my sleep and I'm not even a retired English professor.
