Not much else to do with my night but mock the Oscars; I wasn't gonna, but the opening montage reminded me of how painfully bad some of the Oscar winners have been. Thus, they deserve it. It'll all go in this post so anyone reading this on Livejournal is missing all the fun.

Best Makeup goes to Frida. I do not understand why it’s OK to only have two nominees in this category, but it’s so important to have five nominees in Best Animated Film you gotta nominate Spirit.

I kind of wish I'd been doing a real-time play-by-play too, to capture my reactions as they happened. Now it's all becoming a vague blur. Though that may have something to do with the late hour.
