Somewhat unexpectedly, my boss asked me to announce to the group that I was leaving. So I did, fumblingly.

My planned schedule for the Mill Valley Film Festival follows, cut to avoid reader boredom.

Jeunet, Coen Bros., Mamet, William Macy... I am intensely psyched. We'll see if my stamina holds out. My count is 18 flicks over 11 days, but 9 in the last 3 and 7 in the last 2.
