Apr. 1st, 2007 02:36 pmI figured that I couldn't choose any better month than April to make as many life changes as possible; thus, along with the whole house thing, I'm changing jobs. In a couple of weeks I'll be moving on from the green pastures of Turbine and heading off to Vivox to run their Operations group.
I'll miss Turbine a ton, but the new opportunity is way too good to resist. It's a promotion, it's a smaller company, and it's a chance to do new things. Vivox does voice over IP, positioned as an add-on component for online gaming. It'll be kind of nice to be back in the B2B space, and I think online gaming middleware is going to be significantly exciting over the next five to ten years.
Man, it's gonna be a busy April.
