I'm a hundred bucks short of my goal, and our team is about $800 short -- which is not surprising, I started raising money late and I'm not walking in Boston this year, and I feel bad about both of those things. But I still have a week to go and I figure it can't hurt to see what we can do.
If you read my earlier post and intended to donate but haven't gotten around to it,
now is a good time. If you missed it, let me take this opportunity to ask you to
donate. Twenty-five bucks is great, ten bucks is fine -- everything helps.
I did this walk... what was it, a month or so after Wyatt killed himself? Two weeks? The time really blurs. It made a huge difference for me: seeing hundreds of people banding together for the same reasons and for the same cause told me in a very concrete way that Susan and I were not alone in our pain. AFSP helps a lot of people, which costs money. So it goes.
Thank you for anything you can do.
