I am loving the association of Sue with Marlon as the Good Witches of this game; it's almost too perfect.
Other than that, this episode proves you don't have to go too far from reality to really creep people out in RPGs... knowing that those Hell Houses are real doesn't diminish their impact in the context of this story one iota.
