Oh yeah — posts will be seldom for the rest of this week, as I am off traveling on business. Parenthetically, there’s nothing quite so amusing as introducing a tech geek to Fry’s for the first time. Sure, I’m jaded by years of bad Fry’s customer service, but newbies don’t know the horrors that lurk beneath the tech megastore surface.

For all the Horrors, I miss it terribly.

If only because the only othe rplace ot get ethernet at reasonable prices seems to be Home Depot.

And here you will find the lack of helpful sales person!

And here you will find the sales person who tells you to ask the other sales person!

And here you will find the other sales person who helpfully directs you to an aisle with entirely different stuff, and then vanishes!

And here you will find the suspiciously re-shrinkwrapped box of stuff, sold as new!

And here you will find the suspiciously opened and lighter box!

I sorta miss Fry's, nonetheless.
