If you start here and read forward, you’ll get an elegant insightful view of the Democratic nomination battle from January 14th to the current moment. Al Giordano predicted Kerry’s surge ages ago, and he was dead on accurate. His insight into the surge as it happened was fascinating.

I also like his dissection of the Kerry-as-Hulk, Dean-as-Hulk meme:

The neo-cons grew up on DC comics, where the heroes were one dimensional, and not on Marvel comics, where they were complex talents, often nerds in real life, who made their neuroses work for the public good! Otherwise they would understand that being the Hulk is not all a bad thing.

Re: the DC / Marvel distinction, I merely have to point to Batman.

I suppose the overall argument is still sound, but I'm not a fan of bashing DC for bashing DC's sake. :)
