bryantPanic stars William Macy, Neve Campbell, Donald Sutherland, Tracy Ullman, and John Ritter. If you didn't know, you'd think it was another hitman meets therapist premise. Which it is, but it's not funny, and it's really more about Macy's mid-life crisis.
The acting is excellent all the way through. The directing is LA detached, which is about perfect for the emotional riffs Macy's experiencing. Neve Campbell continues to do nothing to make me think she's not a pretty decent actress, sort of a dirty old man's Sarah Polley.
Recommended. Donald Sutherland is particularly good.
