So yeah, missed this week's mashup too.

I was going to try and hit 52 and call it a series and take a break. I am, however, not going to get that done, at least not with weekly posts. I am burned out on doing clever things to original texts. I can come up with ideas for a mashup subject all day long, but I cannot so much come up with good things to do to the subjects. It makes my brain hurt.

Thus, my current plan is as follows: I will continue to do sporadic mashups on Mondays until I hit #52. Then I will take a nice long break till I feel like doing 'em again.

Thanks for your patience. I apologize if anyone is disappointed or dejected, although I suspect it's no big deal and I feel a pretty complete lack of angst about it.

I'm kind of the same way with some of them, which is why I'm spotty about doing them.

I agree with the taking a break thing, oddly enough. :o I understand burnout. I have several half-thought-out gaming posts for 20x20 and my own blog, but inspiration isn't there right now to finish them. It will come back later. It always does.

It occurs to me that I don't get emails for Mashups any more. You might want to check your settings; I know the feedback helps and it may be that people are missing them in part because they don't get emails.

Hm. For the last few weeks, #45, #44, #43, #40, #39, #38, #37 all went out. Not sure what happened to #41 and #42. Before then things were more patchy due to server problems.

Did you not get those? That's very odd.

I didn't get a 45, but that may be a glitch. I've cleared out further back than that.
