For some reason, at this point I'm anticipating that the Red Sox sweep the Cardinals in 4, and then the Cardinals hunch over and begin their transformation into the REAL final boss monster and they have to play another whole series, and they can't even save, let alone rest or heal before it all starts.

...that, or they have to play all the teams all over again with no healing between games, and there's a psychedelic background through the whole thing.
