The song entitled "Going Through The Motions" on the new Aimee Mann live album is not the song sung by Sarah Michelle Gellar on Buffy during the musical episode. So don't get your hopes up like I did.

Thank goodness. Anything that keeps the musical episode locked away in a vault of historical things which should not have been, like the bones of the Elephant Man and Dillinger's mummified 3 foot penis, is just fine by me.

Blue Oyster Cult had a 'Going Thru The Motions' on their 'Mirrors' album. Then whats-her-face that did 'Total Eclipse of the Heart' did a remake on her album. Is it that one?
