It's a secret. Really! Miss Emily never told anyone and her daughter Violet, who now runs the place, also won't tell anyone. She mixes it up in gallon jugs in the morning so you don't even get to see it made.
It's something like one part light rum, one part dark rum, one part pineapple rum, one part coconut rum, one part apricot brandy, a touch of bitters, a touch of lime juice, three parts pineapple juice, one part orange juice. Some people claim there's coconut brandy in it, but I've never seen coconut brandy for sale down there, so I'm skeptical.
It's quite a place. Mind you, I didn't take pictures of the nightlife because there isn't any -- it's not a booming hotspot any more. Before the hotel burned down it was a touch more active.
