FYI: Theodore Roszak's Flicker is back in print. It's a great book about movies, albeit one with a somewhat unsatisfying ending; this review hits the mark for me. Particularly in the snark about Aronofsky as a director. (Via Twitch.)

Good to see it back in print. Now to get a copy to replace my long lost copy.

Excellent news. I've been looking for an affordable copy of this for a -long- time.

The movie adaptation could be pretty good: the Fight Club screenwriter and Aronofsky, who I like. Mind you, I haven't ever seen Requiem for a Dream - too squicky for me. My like of Aronofsky is based on a) Pi, and b) being friends with his college roommate.

I do hope they change the ending, though.
