I went and checked out my similar interest list. It's the list of people with similar interests to mine.

Nobody I actually know is on the list.

I am not entirely sure what this means. Maybe I should be asking my friends what I'm interested in; possibly I've gotten it all wrong. Maybe I like long walks on the beach and nobody's ever told me. Hm.

The problem might be that you haven't really listed ALL your interests. Your list tops out at like 11, and mine goes up to like 43. The number is roughly how many interests you have in common, (plus a bit if the interests you share are uncommon).

I went through my list of friends and checked out their interests, then I added more to my list, some time ago.

Unfortunately the formula tends to match you with people who have listed far more interests than you did, rather than people whose lists are roughly similar.
