I have a verbal job offer from a company in Boston, which I expect means that I will be moving back East soon. I am both sad and happy.

You know, by the time I'm ready to move back west again, all my friends will have returned east.

out west != bay area.

I knew when I moved from there it'd be highly unlikely I ever moved back. I was already looking ahead a couple years until I moved away from it when I got laid off.

I want to get further into the mountains, or failing that, Portland. :)
