The House of Lords is blogging. Baroness Murphy is not pleased with the current hours of the House. This is awesome.

Is this an April Fool's joke? I haven't had good luck with judging those today.

Yeah, all the stuff from March made me suspect it was real, but some people really do try to cover all their tracks...

"Rumblies in the tumblies"

Just going to show America you can't BUY this kind of aristocracy.

Lords of the Blog. That is awesome. If our Congress did that most of the posts would be written by PR flacks, I bet.

I want to sign all my posts "Baroness" now, despite not being entitled.

This ... this is the great thing that has ever happened to me. I can never repay you.

For all Baroness Murphy comes off with a certain earnest-about-nothing dottiness in her latest post, the rest is really interesting - she makes plenty of sense further in, and I think I'd take Baroness D'Souza over the junior Senator from Connecticut if offered. I've always wanted to know what a Senator who wasn't worried about re-election would sound like.

(For comparison, As It Happens on the CBC via NPR runs sound now and then of Question Time in the Canadian parliament. Who'd have thought Canadians would get that rowdy outside a hockey rink?)
