But I did just shell out $4 for a PDF of Against The Giants so I could convert it to 4e.

Edit: the tournament characters included in the back of the book are named Gleep Wurp the Eyebiter, Cloyer Bulse the Magsman, Roaky Swerked, Frush O’Suggill, Fonkin Hoddypeak, Flerd Trantle, Redmod Dumple, Faffle Dwe’o-mercraeft, and Beek Gwenders of Croodle. So there’s my money’s worth.

If you'd asked it as a trivia question, I'll bet I could have remembered two or three of those names. Definitely Gleep the Eyebiter, and I'd like to think Fonkin Hoddypeak and Beek Gwenders of Croodle.

I have that here as well. I briefly considered converting the whole G123 D12 Q1 series for Rolemaster but then thought better of it.

I admit a strong temptation to bust out Isle of Dread or The Sinister Secret of Saltmarsh

Not THE Beek Gwenders...

How can you not want to run for Beek Gwenders of Croodle?! Are you inhuman?

I'll admit my first thought upon hearing the Minion rules in 4e was "Yay, now G1-3 is possible again!" Possibly even The Night Below mega-adventure in which the adventurers fight AN ENTIRE CITY OF MONSTERS.

Not that I plan to run either, or even 4e at all. It's Don't Rest Your Head and Dogs in the Vineyard for me, still. (i did buy 4e in a fit of getting-caught-upness upon hearing "10x less prep.")

Since my company has about 10,000 Dutch employees, I am sure I might work with a few of these guys. :)
