ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) — Less than a week after balking at the Alaska Legislature's investigation into her alleged abuse of power, Gov. Sarah Palin on Monday indicated she will cooperate with a separate probe run by people she can fire.

Alaskan politics are just a bit too askew to make for a good candidate; it's not that there's anything inherently /wrong/ with the way Alaska does business, but it's not going to resonate well with the lower 48.

Sure feels to me like they're just afraid Palin will make an ass of herself again like she did with Gibson. I hadn't even considered the sexism angle of it.

The thing that struck me about the Campbell Scott clip is her facial expressions looked painful.
