Good Times Emporium was going to move now that Ikea owns Assembly Square or whatever it is that happened there. But the move fell through. And now they have all this stuff that they need to sell immediately or else.

Fortunately we have no room for stuff.

Man, if I only had room for a DDR machine.

I'm glad I gave up my idea of running a bemani arcade, or I might have problem.

I am so deeply, deeply saddened that Good Times will not be reopening.

I am, perhaps, even sadder that I have no place to put a real, live skeeball machine.

:(

I just sent that link to lynx, and was pondering posting it to lj.

They have a Sega Star Wars machine. Oh man...

(we have room in our basement for such a thing, yes we do)

And in truth, we are probably set up best among our friends to fit one of these bad boys in our abode.

My grandfather had a puck-bowling machine in his basement when I was growing up. I loved that thing! So many childhood memories there.

That's true, I think you are! (If I ever got the chance to own the Addams Family pinball game, I'd be *so there*. I was addicted!) If you do consider going and want to make a field trip out of it, let me know! I can't buy anything, but it'd be fun to see. :)

Man, that would've been so much fun as a kid! :)

The Addams Family one, if I remember right from the things lynx has said, is one of the ones that ends up in the "ridiculously expensive, even for what you'd expect with this sort of thing" range, because of how everyone in the world loves it and has fond memories of it. That said, I am right there with you. Someday if we get a house with enough room, lynx will be setting up his Superman pinball machine, and you can come over and play it.

Wish they had a Jurassic Park pinball game and I had (1)money, (2)room, and (3)transportation. Oooo..Addams Family would be a good one, too.
