101 Things about 1001 Days.
Jan. 13th, 2009 09:42 amSee also. End date is... let's say start at the end of January. The end date is Saturday, October 29, 2011.
Coming up with the list is hard.
Some of these are things I've done before and don't want to stop doing, but I think that counts.
1. See more than five movies at a film festival.
2. Complete a roleplaying freelance assignment.
3. Submit a short story to a paying market.
4. Self-pub something via Lulu or other apropos channel.
5. [redacted]
6. Release software. (Probably my DDI Character Builder iPhone hack.)
7. Visit Walt Disney World with
michele_blue.
8. See all the Oscar nominees for Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Supporting Actor, Best Supporting Actress, Best Film, Best Animated Film, Best Directing, Best Documentary, and Best Foreign Film for any year. 2007 looks pretty plausible, actually.
9. Publish a podcast. Five episodes minimum.
10. Run five one-shot games (or two-shots).
11. Shed old clothing, particularly the T-shirts.
12. Optimize Abbi's pre-raid gear.
13. Get someone Horde-side to the level cap.
14. Alphabetize the paperbacks.
15. Organize the trade paperbacks and hardcovers.
16. Take Dad to another sporting event.
17. Go to a football game. (I've only done this once, go figure. BOO YALE.)
18. Take a course.
19. Finish entering The 100 Best Films to Rent You've Never Heard Of.
20. Get up to 50% viewed on They Shoot Pictures, Don't They?'s 21st Century's Most Acclaimed Pictures list.
21. Keep personal inbox under 50 messages consistently.
22. Learn Python passably.
23. Learn Ruby passably.
24. Run D&D for Jacob and/or family members.
25. Walk in the 2009 Boston AFSP walk.
25 for now. I'm sure there're things I've forgotten. Feel free to suggest stuff.
26. Replace the bed.
27. Cook a David Eyre's Pancake at home.
28. Visit
michele_blue's family.
29. Write 10 levels of megadungeon.
30. Read Gene Wolfe's Book of the New Sun

Date: 2009-01-13 04:31 pm (UTC)Heh. Unclear to me if "10 things in 3 months" or "1 thing in 3 days" is a better scale for me. ;) I suppose it'd be hard to, say, publish 5 episodes of a podcast in 3 days. Although "alphabetize the paperbacks" seems--
well, okay, alphabetizing -our- paperbacks would be easy to do in 3 days. Maybe not -your- collection, hahaha. :)
