Currently running Ubuntu 7.10 (Gutsy Gibbon). Fresh install. OpenOffice 2.3. There's a Linksys Wireless-G card in the laptop bag but I haven't tested it. I do not have the original install disks. I'm pretty sure the battery is dead but the power cord works!

Tolerable but not outstanding laptop for writing; Open Office is pretty functional. Free to a good home. If there are no takers in the next 24 hours it's going to Freecycle.

You know what? Mark is going to be in MA for training classes for most of the week -- ping shadowflyer or e-mail me (rikibeth AT gmail DOT com) for his phone/email info, and I bet he'd be able to arrange to pick it up.
