probably not for me. i'm not good at roleplaying online. i lose track of the storyline if it takes more than a few minutes between posts. (i have the short-term memory of a goldfish.) would love a live game if i can manage it between 2 work schedules, though.
But that is absolutely the beauty of running in Wave. The game is producing a coherent, more or less polished log as you go for quick reference; no more paging back through your mail queue to reconstruct the scene in your head if you momentarily lose yourself.
You know, i feel like i've had too much SANity - i've never played CoC in any of its varieties.
I might be interested in this, but I don't know if this would be a reasonable introduction to it, tho, with me being an overly sane n00b. What do you think?
Sure, it'd work. I'm thinking of something set in modern day Boston, so you'd know the locale. Delta Green is sort of the grungy cop/federales version of CoC, so a little more gun bunny and a little less academics in tweed, but it's still CoC.
somewhat amusingly, I'm actually more familiar with delta green than the basic CoC stuff -- a friend of mine dated one of the DG authors back a long time ago, so I ended up meeting him and checking out some of the DG books.
Not waved, and play-by-post either overwhelms me with a deluge of posts or bores me with waiting; I've never managed to find a happy medium. Intrigued by the concept, though; wave may make play-by-post actually possible for me, if it doesn't turn into another 'drown under pages and pages of new stuff since the last time I could focus' thing. (Far more intrigued by something real-time though.)
Have not played with Wave yet, don't have an account, do not really need more social media, but Delta Green GUMSHOE with you and other (ex)Boston homeys would be enough to lure me in.
Hmmm I am trying to decide if I am better off holding off until the end of November (when I will know if I am quitting WoW for real or not, and if nothing changes drastically for the better I will be quitting) or trying to start something now while I'm still distracted by seeing if I can make WoW work and keeping RL from falling apart. My health hit a slump in September. (Probably from getting back into WoW, possibly from bad eating habits.) Is December too long to wait? I am still very intrigued by D&D4 and have been chatting with Brad about it. I am just worried about my current ferret-like attention span.

I'd be a interested to see it in action.

I will no doubt be spending the rest of the year getting up to speed on Wave.
