The Lost Finale

I'm somewhat surprised nobody's figured this out yet. The final shot, with the wreckage and all? You can't see the bodies because they're miniaturized. When Christian Shepherd walks out of the chapel, the light is so strong because the sun is huge in comparison to the size of the tiny Losties. When Lapidus was taking off, he was worried that the runway would be too short. When we got the shot of Locke and Jack peering down the cave (not to mention all those well shots), they were foreshortened.

And, finally, as Sawyer said...

Why was it so hard to find the island? Because it's very, very small. Probably condensed -- the mass of an entire island shrunk down. Uncorking the energy made the island flash back to normal size, which is why you could see the plane in the last shot.

I've been saying this for six seasons, as any of my friends could tell you, my anonymous friend.

I was hoping the 24 season finale would involve Jack Bauer stopping the crash of Oceanic Airlines 815. Perhaps by torturing JJ Abrams with a mystery gom jabbar box, but that may be too meta.
