I’m overwhelmed. The Library of Congress put its Prints & Photographs Catalog online. Look, it’s turn of the century Boston!

Wow. Terrific resource. I love old photos. Lisa had an awesome book of late 19th C. photos of China out from the library this week. Lots of terrific shots of crazy elaborate traditional clothing, and crazy elaborate torture and punishment methods (the two things the visiting Victorian photographers were most interested in, apparently).
