The most interesting thing on television today is the 30 hour Senate debate on judicial nominees. It’s not going to change a thing either way, but both the Democrats and the Republicans are tossing their best speakers up there to chew up time and sling rhetoric. Good for those fascinated by process.

What kind of short attention span/memory problems do the Republicans think we as a country have anyway?

Don't they recall doing the same thing to Clinton's nominees? And yet they stiill have the gall to call the Dem blockage "unprescedented" (Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-SC). Bush claims that the courts are "dangerously vacant." hmm. I wonder how they got that way?

But we're not supposed to remember back that far, except that Clinton was having sex in the White House and not doing a thing about terrorism.
