Choices, Choices!
Jan. 10th, 2002 05:26 pmSo is it fair to go back and change a top ten list after the fact, if you've seen another one of the movies released that year? I'm thinking it probably is; after all, I didn't include movies released previously but which I only saw in 2001.
Thus, I'm going to have to contemplate Nicole Kidman's foray into the supernatural. I really enjoyed it. It was chilling in all the right places, and the central twist was clever without being tricky. It wasn't a puzzle movie in the way that, say, Memento was. The acting was generally top notch, and the cinematography was excellent -- it used light as well as any movie this year, with the possible exception of The Man Who Wasn't There.
Top ten? I'd have to think about which of my current top ten I'd move off.
