I've been using del.icio.us for a week and a bit now and it feels like a habit, so I will point out my personal little bookmark clickstream. The cool thing is that I can subscribe to your clickstream and get a friends page that aggregates the bookmarks of the people I find interesting. This works for me.

At some point fairly soon I may hook this up to this weblog in some interesting manner. In the meantime it's a good way to keep track of evanescent interests. And if you have a del.icio.us account that you don't mind sharing, share it in comments.

I've been thinking I need something like this. I've been considering a variety of web sites that offer URL filing.

What makes this service more attractive than FURL or SPURL or any of the other similar services?

SPURL doesn't seem to have the tags, which for me is a minus. It looks like FURL has all the same functionality, but del.icio.us has a nicer (simpler) API for programmatic access... I suspect it's six of one half dozen of the other, though.

You know I sat there for about 3 minutes wodnering what Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients had to do with some page that seems to keep bookmarks for you (I don't udnerstand why) before I realized it was some other technical field's acronym.

Its one of those mornings.
