If you want to see the Sin City footage shown at Comicon, you can. It's being filmed in digital on digital sets, and the trailer is really oriented towards demonstrating how well Robert Rodriguez is capturing the look of the comic book. (Answer: quite well.)

Yep. Miller has a director credit, but that's just cause Rodriguez wanted to make it clear who was responsible for the look and feel -- as you've seen, he's following the comics like they were a long silk red glove on a slender hand.

Ahem.

Turns out he quit the DGA over it because they gave him a hard time, which in turn led to him being unable to make Princess of Mars. Sad.
