Green Ronin's new Black Company worldbook makes me want to run a five session game during which the PCs lose. Gritty fantasy, city under siege, that sort of thing. What can you do before you die?

I should probably read those books first

*heart* I found a restaurant down in Virginia Beach called Croaker's. I took pictures.

(I'm a nerd)

My ex always wanted to run a Black Company campaign.

I think it would make a great ugly Everway game, myself.

My "campaign world" (by virtue of being the only one in which I've run two long term games for two totally different groups) is an alterate history Europe with hefty swiping from the Black Company books. I loved it... but never got to play in it.

So, yeah, run it and I'm there. Grim is fine by me, ask [livejournal.com profile] stendhal9.

Dude. I'd love a game like that.

Although, I'm not sure if I'd find it frustrating or not, if I knew I couldn't win before hand.

Although, the Black Company series got very ... strange past the first trilogy. A very different feel, and less desperation.

So it is *that* Black Company?
