Looks like the Copley Place theater is closing. Can't say I'm surprised, although I'm a little bit sorry. They were a lousy theater but they were also the best bet for second run art flicks in Boston. Not, mind you, that I got down there very often. It's a pity, regardless.

I don't know how quickly the closing will take place, do you, Bryant? I'm SO frelling pissed that the closest theatre to my house is going to close. I go there alone a lot, too. I'll miss it, a lot. That's where I saw Amelie (all the times I saw Amelie...)

Must be an Audrey Tatou synchronicity there. I saw Amelie there and I saw A Very Long Engagement there last night.

When I saw the sign saying they were closing, I thought: "Wow, that's a shame." After waiting nearly half an hour to buy tickets (from the concession stand for some reason) and then sitting in a crappy little theater that slants up instead of down, I got over it. AVLE was a good time, though.
