So Tom DeLay had to appear at the courthouse for a mug shot last week. Now, let's say you're a politician in some degree of trouble, and you gotta have your mug shot taken. I'm thinking it's not too much of a leap of brilliance to say "I better not look like a criminal in the photograph."

Or maybe that takes "a freaking political genius". And maybe taking care to look good in your mug shot completely disarms one's adversaries. I mean, that's it -- he looked good in his mug shot, so the trial might as well be over now.

This is an awfully low bar for political excellence, if you ask me.

Which is the new buisness of the political world right now. Sell a great product to an already owned media, and your more than halfway there, your home.

Seriously this is still pissing me off to no end. This is a criminal trial pure and simple. And these so-called genius are making it a mockery with thier circus.

And a prime example of a politician that has exactly zero sum total interest in serving his contituency or his nation.

Man, you've got a stronger stomach than I do... I'm not able to read RedState. I could handle Tacitus or Andrew Sullivan (they at least have a few reasoned arguments), but man oh man. RedState is just full of so much drek.
