Yes, we did discuss me trying to engineer a folding bookshelf that hides a couch. Problem is, the books would fall all over the place unless there's something to hold them it. Glass front doors maybe?

The next project might be built-ins beneath the very steep ceilings in Wyatt's & my rooms. Or elaborate cat furniture; the cats are really irritated that the jungle gym of intriguing book-filled boxes is going away.

Nice! Are the shelves fixed or moveable? I'd like to do that to our place, but the obvious wall for it is also the wall with the heater in it.

Fixed. It wasn't too complex -- the holes got cut in the walls and a set of bookshelves got shoved in. My brother just used a power drill and screws to hold them to the wall studs.
