The Character Builder has been updated, so I started fiddling around with Players Handbook 2 ideas. The first thing I statted up was a human shaman named Bivvy, who claims to be of a noble family fallen on hard times. His spirit companion is a butler. “Whichever type of spirit companion you choose, it can have any appearance you like.” I’m just sayin’.

He’s taking Wrath of Winter as one of his at-wills, on the premise that the butler ought to be able to appear at someone’s side noiselessly. Also, I think, Blessing of the Seven Winds. Bit of a tornado, what?

I need to find a small figurine depicting Stephen Fry to make this really work.

That is, as the kids say, a nugget of pure win coated liberally with awesomesauce.

Tell me more about this Bollywood idea? Angie didn't mention it.

Chris and I have been noodling around with a "Bollywood Item Number" card game idea.

You need love triangles. Lots and lots of love triangles. And a happy ending. Er, happy for someone, anyway.

There should be a wedding, possibly more than one, in hindu style, of course, either as the backdrop to a fight or where valuable chance meetings happen. Last minute groom substitutions are also popular.

If you ever need a "hot springs" episode, take a trip to Goa (either a honeymoon or class trip have been frequently done.)

And romantic subplots are often consummated. There's just minimal kissing. Wedding nights often cut to dream sequence song and dance numbers alluding to dropped jewelry, hennaed hands and the fragrance of the beloved that otherwise make little sense.

I would totally have bought one!

Brad and I had "Jarvis and Bertrand" as a character pair in Living Greyhawk.

I wonder if you could home-mod an Alfred or Jarvis Heroclix or something.

Oh, just call him BERTIE and be done with it, man.

"You're in a ten by ten corridor with torches in brackets every hundred feet. THEN THE DARK LORD APPEARS! What do you do?"

"I gawk and stammer. Why doesn't Jeeves DO something?"

"He clears his throat pointedly while rolling his eyes back behind you"

"OH yes of course. SMASHING idea. I run!"
